Rico the fashion show
Stella Nolasco's charm and metropolitan sensibility render her designs modern, stylish and edgy. Consequently she has earned a reputation as Puerto Rico's most avant garde designer. Her designs exude, at once, both vintage nostalgia, and sophisticated modernity.Nolasco obtained a bacherlor's degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia, and was chosen to participate in the fashion program at the acclaimed SACI School of art in Italy. Stella is a household name in Puerto Rico where her work receives near constant media coverage. Stella's line has been featured at trend setting and luxurious department store Neiman Marcus.
Stella attended for the first time Atmosphere, at the Paris fashion week. Her line was immediately snatched up by famous European department store Gerard Darel and many international boutiques around the world. Sauce, Dubai. Style, Kwait. Les Prinsseses, Paris. Studio Facts, Japan. Lorenzina, Spain.
Her designs have been worn by such celebrities as singer sensation Beyonce Knowels,on the cover of Seventeen Magazine, Hollywood actresses, Kelly Reyley (Sherlock Holmes), Cote de Pablo (NCIS), Mia Maestro, Judy Reyes (Scrubs), Bo Dereck, Dayanara Torres. Latin Grammy's winner, Kanny Garcia, Mexican Soap opera queens; Marlene Favela and Adamaris Lopez; and Univision; Giselle Blondette, Viviana Ortiz, and Vanessa de Roide.
In 2011 Stella had her first painting exhibition; Las Sombras De Una Mujer, at the recognized art gallery, Obra, in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Recently Stella collaborated with the Hollywood actor, and fashion designer, John Malkovich for his line, Technobohemian, fashion show.
