Palm springs fashion weekend
In this post we’re going to explore something which could be considered to be rather a ‘taboo’ topic. It’s nothing untoward, vulgar or crass, though it’s certainly something which doesn’t fall into what you might think to be ‘the norm’.
Buying Flowers for Men
Practically unheard of, right? Well, at Little Flower Box we want people to think…well, outside the box! Very few people ever think to buy men flowers. And to be fair, a great number of men don’t particularly show much of an interest in flowers. (or at least, they’d never care to admit it) However, the fact remains that there is not a man on this earth who doesn’t look at some beautiful flowers and appreciate them for what they are.
Flowers have a similar affect on all of us. Nature’s beauty really is quite difficult to ignore, which is why we’re going to explore a new alternative.
Just as a man is expected to buy his partner flowers now and again, perhaps it’s time for you to return the favour? At the very least, it’s worth a try! Let’s take a look at some of the benefits:
1 – You Get to Enjoy Them as Well
In the most positive sense, it’s a double-edged sword, – one with loads of gorgeous floral patterns cast into the steel. You buy your chap flowers and they’re going on display in your house anyway. So, whether he likes them or not, you get to enjoy them in equal measure.
2 – It’s Something Unique and Thoughtful
Perhaps get him a little something else as well, particularly if its for his birthday, but as a little extra, some flowers could be a really thoughtful gesture. You can research various flowers and their meanings, look for certain species which come in his favourite colour/s, and even purchase flowers that come with FREE seeds. So, he can grow and nurture his very own. It will be interesting for you to see how well he does with growing flowers, particularly if you’ve yet but are planning to start a family!
3 – Flowers Can Be Masculine Too!
There are many different combinations of colours and species which can be appealing to men. It doesn’t have to be all pink, in fact, there doesn’t have to be much in the way of colour at all. The key is to be as creative as you like and try to tailor the flowers to his individual tastes.
4 – He Will Appreciate It More Than You Know
The odds are that you’ll be the first person ever to buy him flowers in his life. And it’s the little things like that which actually mean an awful lot to most men. It’s also a wonderful way of letting him know that it’s OK to be vulnerable around you, and that he doesn’t have to pretend to be some “macho man” all the time. It lets him know that he can openly appreciate the finer things in life, despite how he might act around his mates. Just don’t have them delivered to him in work! One step at a time, yea?
