Would you like to learn how to make professional garment patterns and how to grade patterns to different sizes?
Sewing experience is required to complete this course. Student's will be expected to toile garment patterns (make a garment sample).

Student's who successfully complete this course will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for the unit's of competency listed above. These units form part of the Diploma of Applied Fashion Design and Technology course.
Students who enroll in the Part Time Pattern Making course will be completing part of the Diploma of Applied Fashion Design & Technology course with the Advanced Diploma students. Enrolment priorty goes to those who enrol in the full Advanced Diploma and therefore enrolments in this course cannot be confirmed until one week prior to the start date.
Total Duration: 1 day per week over 37 weeks (plus holiday breaks) 9.30am - 4.30pm. The day of the week cannot be confirmed until closer to the start date due to timetabling.
As this course forms part of the Advanced Diploma of Applied Fashion Design and Technology, the days of the week that this course runs on cannot be confirmed until a few weeks before the course start date, and are subject to change.
Students will require some patternmaking equipment and a textbook to complete this course - approximately 0.
Students will also require some sewing equipment - as they will be required to toile the patterns made during the course. If you require information on approximate costs of sewing equipment, please contact us.
